Pizzo Marina, Summer 2019 (12'06 ") is a journey to the south, a journey to the southern summer seen from the eyes of a child. It is a story without words and, where there are dialogues these are purely accidental. The composition starts from the analysis and the transposition and contrast of all those random events that form the soundscape. The result is a sound fiction halfway between an autobiographical narration, a sound documentary and a fantastic tale.
This work was selected in 2019 for the Field Recording Award in Phonurgia Nova Awards in Paris.
