MIRABLISI FLORESCENTIA (Fausto Caricato, 2018) - electroacoustic composition for plucked strings and electromagnetic interferences. Mirabilis Jalapa is the perennial Andean plant whom brightly colored and scented flowers open only at dusk. It is the symbol of the shy character, because its flowers disclose only at moonlight. That flower is the inspiration for Mirabils FloreScentia, an acousmatic work for plucked strings, synthetyzer and electric devices, whose form and development is shaped according to the plant's annual lifecycle. The work was presented at Diffrazioni Festival 2019 in Florence. Diffrazioni Multimedia Festival 2019 and at the Tehran Electronic Music Festival TIEMF 2020.
